Embrace your vision of the ultimate bespoke wedding at our stunning farmhouse venue.

As you enter the premises via the rolling countryside of South Oxfordshire’s Vale of White Horse district, you will be greeted by the overhead beams of our 15-foot timber pergola, perfect for adorning with your desired flower arrangements. Multiple raised flowerbeds contain a fragrant lavender garden and fruit trees, creating an atmosphere of vitality and abundance. The gardens feature ample opportunities for romantic photographs, including a secluded bench, immersed in nature and framed by a wooden arch.

While absorbing this charming outdoor space, your eyes will be drawn to the vast, original timber doors of Stonehill Barn. The grade-2 listed building features a stunning traditional aesthetic, including a herringbone brickwork floor and exposed timbers. It is a dry hire venue, which provides a beautiful setting to house your unique vision of the perfect boutique wedding.
The barn is located on an 18 acre site owned by a group called Stonehill Cohousing who live in the residential areas. We are a multigenerational, mixed-income, environmentally oriented cohousing community, utilizing the barn to generate income to create opportunities for community engagement.

Stonehill Barn sits within the private section of an 18 acre site, on the edge of South Abingdon and is easily accessible by public transport. The nearest train station is Didcot Parkway and the X2 bus travels between Didcot and Oxford (Moreland Gardens is the closest bus stop).
